It’s a new year so I just want to go over some of what I worked on over the past 12 months. Actually i’m just going to recap one project in particular. WTF… What The Future! finished it’s first season very strongly. Starting out the show had a really cool intro (in my humble opinion) and a ton of great footage from weeks in Africa, but really just an outline of what the show could/might be about.
Over the first 6 episodes the show has really come together as Warren (host/producer), Dennis (editor/producer) and Kevin (camera/producer) (and maybe a little bit of me… just a REAL tiny bit?) developed it’s identity and personality. As a result, I think its a kickass show. It’s not fluff, overly produced, thoughtless or pointless… it’s a guy genuinely looking at the world from his point of view, meeting people and asking questions about things that are important. Whether or not the ideas being discussed are important to you and me is another thing all together, but the topics are important to the people that the show deals with, and that’s genuine, and that’s what makes it worth watching. It’s t.v. with a little bit of soul people!
Each episode I on-lined got better and better. The storylines became tighter and the visuals of Africa make for a great stage anyway so to me it’s great watching. Below I’ve posted some of the first segments from 3 of the episodes. Check them out if you’ve got the time.
